Social Media business

Social media is online communication that allows you to interact with your customers and share information in real time.

I remembered 10 years ago the term “Social Content” wasn’t important as it is today.

Back in the days (2000’s) there were a set op basic steps in starting any marketing campaign, design logo’s, design flyers, distribute flyers, yellow pages, google ads and then print media.

Evolution has kicked in and we all have to adapt. What happened a new catagory of job listing was developed, which means that Social Media Managing is seen as any type of business growth strategy. It’s a faster PR/funding/news flash strategy.

Starting new ways to advertise for clients as spur complications and confusion, which is normal. This forces the entrepreneurs to not just be in a position to sell products or services, but be responsible educators.

Let me explain the process:

When you develop a movie there are a few stander process that needs to follow. Starting in the Film 101 classes they will teach you on Pre-production – Production – Post-production…3 main headings. If you are born as an entrepreneur you know that you’ll add to those steps.  Here is my step

What is TV Advertising

Advertising is a marketing tactic involving paying for space to promote a product, service, or cause. The actual promotional messages are called advertisements, or ads for short. The goal of advertising is to reach people most likely to be willing to pay for a company’s products or services and entice them to buy.

Advertising has three primary objectives: to inform, to persuade, and to remind. Informative Advertising creates awareness of brands, products, services, and ideas. It announces new products and programs and can educate people about the attributes and benefits of new or established products.

What is Social media ADVERTISING

By definition, social advertising is any type of marketing that is developed for and relies on social media networks, platforms, or apps to reach new audiences and/or engage with existing customers, increase brand awareness, and foster positive relationships/communication with consumers. Companies engage in social advertising by creating native ads on social media platforms like Instagram, Snapchat, and YouTube, developing branded content on their own social media channels or collaborating with social media stars (i.e. YouTubers, Instagrammers, Viners, Snapchatters, bloggers, and vloggers) to produce, implement, and promote brand-sponsored content created by the digital influencer.

What Is Content Marketing?

Traditional marketing is becoming less and less effective by the minute; as a forward-thinking marketer, you know there has to be a better way.

Content marketing is a strategic marketing approach focused on creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain a clearly defined audience — and, ultimately, to drive profitable customer action.

Instead of pitching your products or services, you are providing truly relevant and useful content to your prospects and customers to help them solve their issues.

Which is better: Advertising or Content Marketing

Content Marketing is the process of attracting new customers by publishing original content that’s relevant to target audiences. This content can either educate or entertain audiences, but it should be valuable enough for viewers to either share with their friends or link to in their own content.

You can create content in a number of different styles, depending on the audience that you want to reach, including:

  • Blogs
  • Articles
  • eBooks
  • How-to guides
  • Photos
  • Videos
  • Infographics

The ultimate goal of content marketing is to grow your brand awareness while encouraging conversions by showing that you’re an experienced, authoritative leader in your field. By establishing your reputation, you encourage customers to return to your website for further content, and you can keep informing them while selling to them as they enjoy what you’ve created.

Advertising is to reinforce the brand message and to reassure the existing and potential customers about the brand vision. Advertising helps the brand to maintain top of mind awareness and to avoid competitors stealing the customers. This also helps in the word of mouth marketing.

Other objectives of advertising are subsets of these three objectives. These subsets are:

  • Brand Building
  • Increasing Sales
  • Creating Demand
  • Engagement
  • Expanding Customer Base
  • Changing Customers’ attitudes, etc.

Final Thoughts:

The idea of content marketing vs social media marketing is a misleading concept, as both are necessary to help you build your business. While it’s important to understand the differences between the two, they work wonders together.

For business owners and marketers that already have their plates full, consider hiring a third party firm to take over your content and social media marketing efforts.
